Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is a gem in the heart of Kotor's Old Town. The rooms are spacious and cozy, providing a truly luxurious feel upon arrival. However, the dining options could be more diverse. The service is top-notch with a lovely roof terrace for relaxation. The location is unbeatable for exploring the city on foot, but it might be a bit challenging to find due to its tucked-away location.
The hotel rooms were nice in size with comfortable beds and always serviced well every day. However, it was noisy due to a bar below our room with loud music until 1:00 am. The attention to detail in the rooms could have been better, as we had issues with a non-working lamp and netting instead of curtains.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was superb – right in the heart of the Old Town, offering a true taste of Kotor. However, the noise from the bar below our room until late at night was a significant downside.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, charming, and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast every morning was fantastic, thanks to all the hardworking staff at Hippo.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Kotor's Old Town, making it an ideal spot for exploring the city. The rooms, although in need of updating and a bit dark, offer a cozy stay. The lively bar nearby can be a bit of a drawback for light sleepers on weekends.
My stay at the hotel was cozy and very comfortable, with designer style furnishings in the rooms. However, the loud music from the pub below was quite bothersome until late at night. The service was really helpful, especially during heavy rainfall when they organized our transfer to the outdoors carpark. The location within the city walls of Kotor was great, although the noise from the nearby pub could be disruptive. The dining experience was good, especially in the lovely courtyard. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives during my stay.
